Andrew Hammond, CFP®
Co-Managing Partner & Wealth Advisor
Andrew is a Wealth Advisor at AAF Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Firm whose mission is to provide valuable peace of mind to those who share the awesome responsibility to manage wealth. He provides comprehensive and carefully designed financial plans for individuals & families, nonprofits & foundations, and retirement plan sponsors.
Andrew joined our team of advisors after 17 years in financial services at Fidelity Investments. He joined AAFCPAs because of the firm’s deep tax expertise, individualized approach, and commitment to honesty, ethics, and developing meaningful relationships with each client.
Andrew appreciates that each client’s goals and aversion to risks are personal, unique and in progress. He is happy to spend the time that is necessary to get comfortable with the current investment environment, a financial plan, and/or a portfolio. When designing a financial plan, he takes the time to evaluate each clients’ unique situation, including their: operating budget, personal and business incomes, cash flow & liquidity needs, assets & liabilities, employee benefits, investments, insurance coverages, wills and trusts, as well as basic personal family data and health status.
Andrew’s proven solutions do not stop at plan design, because he knows that even the simplest financial planning and asset allocation strategies need rebalancing on occasion. He continues to harness the firm’s collective knowledge, tools and tax resources to creatively adapt, and to share new ideas and insights as clients’ needs evolve and change over time.
Andrew earned a Bachelor Degree in both Political Science and Economics from the State University of New York at Cortland, and fulfilled his education requirement to sit for the rigorous CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional Certification Examination at Bentley University and Boston University. He is a CFP®, a licensed investment advisor, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). He also holds Life, Accident & Health Insurance Licenses in MA. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. Andrew delivers educational presentations for client organizations focused on the economic outlook, state of investment markets, and the firm’s unique approach to controlling risks.
Andrew lives in Grafton, MA with his wife, and three young children, and together, they enjoy live music and travel.
